Minecraft Knitting Pattern Collection
Creepers, and diamonds, and pick axes oh my.
Do you know any 7 year old girl or boy? If you do, then chances are you have heard about Minecraft. At least that has been my experience. If you don’t know about Minecraft, count yourself lucky 🙂 It’s a game about digging, crafting, and avoiding monsters. People come together to create wonderful and imaginative things.
After Minecraft has taken off, of course the knitting projects would also follow for the ravenous fans out there. Below are a collection of various creepers, diamonds and pick axes, just to name a few.
|The awesome Nerdigurumi blog has offered up this free Creeper amigurumi pattern. If you're not familiar with this character, it's a hostile attacker in the video game Minecraft. While some characters are easy to whip up into a pattern, this video game represents everything in blocks and pixels making this a difficult task to recreate as a crochet project. Regardless, our fearless designer succeeded with this little guy and dare we say, he's kids cute!
The free crochet pattern plus more photos are available on the blog.
|Only a true Minecraft fan would know that this is an Enderman Hat - the inside knowledge makes this especially nerdy! Knitca.com from Craftsy.com has this Enderman hat pattern available for free which makes it especially difficult to resist adding it to your list of projects for a fan of the game.|
|Looking for a unique Minecraft project to make? This crocheted Minecraft TNT block is a great accessory that any Minecrafter would love to add to their collection.
Seastar Stitches has done a great job at this pattern although note that this isn't free. The end project is a perfect square just like in the game.
